Düsseldorf. Jungen Unternehmen der Branche bietet die FIBO im kommenden Jahr besonders günstige Bedingungen. Im Rahmen eines Förderprogramms des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) erhalten junge klein- und mittelständische Unternehmen eine finanzielle Zuwendung zu ihrem Messeauftritt.
Barcelona/Düsseldorf. The fitness industry has a new top-level contact and information platform. The first European Fitness Summit (EFS) from 15 to 17 October 2008 in Barcelona offers selected suppliers the opportunity to establish contact with 60 high-ranking decision-makers from eight countries.
Essen. FIBO has been given a new subtitle: it is now called the “Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness & Health“. With this change (previously only fitness and wellness were named as themes) FIBO takes up the general developments in the market. “An increasing number of studios now aim to cater to the health requirements of their members,“ says FIBO Director Olaf Tomscheit.
Suspense right up to the end: 60 applicants had entered this year’s race to win the much-coveted prize which again was awarded in three categories for the best new product development: the most innovative piece of training equipment, the most novel health promotion product and the best new sports nutrition product. In each category three products were nominated by an independent jury under the direction of TÜV Rheinland. “And the winner is…,“ was the motto on 11 April, when this year’s winners received their awards at the stand of the Innovation Forum. The “Fitness-Oscar“ once again was presented by FIT FOR FUN. The prominent laudatory speaker has been Ralf Moeller.
