Wellness and Beauty at FIBO: New ideas for body, mind and spirit
Health is a great favourite at FIBO, and with it the health promoting spa and wellness segment. In Hall 2 of the Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health, this year’s visitors will find a varied range of exhibitors from this field, as well as experts who give explanations and answers on various questions from the industry. This will be rounded off by a seminar programme to accompany the trade show.
Large numbers of exhibitors from the Wellness & Beauty segment
As in previous years, FIBO again devotes a large area in Hall 2 of the Essen Exhibition Centre to exhibitors from the Wellness & Beauty segment in 2010. Trade visitors will not only find many new products but also a point of contact at the stand of the European Wellness Institute. This is the place to gain information on the latest trends in the Wellness & Beauty segment. At the Information and Consultation Terminal visitors can find information on the topics of professional und further training, as well as on jobs in the industry, consulting for wellness and spa projects, interesting facts on spa management as well as on opinions from independent experts.
Spa & Wellness Expert Days
For the fourth time already, the Spa and Wellness Expert Days will be held as part of FIBO. On two days, the trade show in cooperation with publisher spa business verlag offers specialists and executives from the spa, fitness, wellness and medical fields the opportunity to gain information on new developments in the industry and to obtain further training.
Not theory but practice is the focus on the first day, Thursday 22 April. Examples of best practice from all sub-segments of the industry provide comprehensive insight into successful offers on the market. Pioneering concepts focussing on different themes, such as Beauty, Resort & Hotel or Spa will be presented. A broad range of topics from relaxation treatments through to health prevention offers will be covered. Among the top speakers present will be Tobias Biermann of Holmesplace Health Club in Düsseldorf who will give a presentation on the topic of “Day Spa + Fitness – a successful metropolitan concept?!”, and Theo Künzel of TUICruises in Hamburg who will provide insight into exciting spa concepts on cruise ships.
“Know How to Do“ is the keyword for the second of the Spa & Wellness Expert Days at FIBO. Here the discussion focuses on suitable realisation of the concepts. Industry insiders will show what is "state-of-the-art" and how the best manage to stand out from the rest. Fitness programmes for spas, staff training, special promotional offers for couples, an attractive interior both in terms of function and visuals, or the suitable marketing strategy may play a role here.
